CSV import

Turn a CSV product feed into monitored competitor prices.

Upload an export from Shopify, PrestaShop, a custom store, or a marketplace, and Comptrace uses each product URL, title, and identifier to find and price comparable competitor offers. No manual competitor URL lists to maintain.

Already-supported public URLs preview almost instantly; harder products are queued and followed up.

Map your feed columns once

Comptrace reads your CSV header and suggests which column holds each field it needs to match products: the product URL, title, price, GTIN, MPN, brand, category, and shipping context. You confirm the mapping before any catalog import is accepted, so the stronger your identifiers, the more accurate AI matching and competitor discovery become.

  • Detects link, title, and price columns plus GTIN, MPN, brand, category, and shipping fields
  • Confirms each column mapping with you before the full catalog is imported
  • Uses identifiers to drive AI product matching and Google-based competitor discovery
  • Accepts standard exports from Shopify, PrestaShop, custom stores, and marketplaces

Validate every row before it is stored

Before any private catalog data is saved, Comptrace shows you the import preview: mapping confidence, invalid or malformed rows, products missing identifiers, and sample matches to spot-check. You import with full visibility instead of trusting a black box, and coverage gaps surface as exceptions with status and timestamps rather than disappearing.

  • Surfaces mapping confidence and flags invalid or malformed rows
  • Highlights products missing GTIN, MPN, or brand that weaken matching
  • Shows sample products with matched offers so you can verify before committing
  • Keeps imported catalog fields, competitor rows, and scraped prices private to your workspace

Prices stay private

Your workspace is logically isolated. No catalog field, imported price, or scraped result ever feeds into another account.

Matching is explainable

AI uses product text, identifiers, imagery, retailer pages, and Google-discovered data to decide whether offers are comparable.

Metrics are action-oriented

Price rank, average gap, trend direction, and scraped-at timestamps tell teams what changed and whether the data is fresh.
